Wojciech Błażejczyk is a polish composer born in 1981 in Warsaw. He has graduated the faculty of sound engineering at the F. Chopin’s Music University in Warsaw, faculty of composition at the F. Chopin’s Music University in Warsaw with professor Zygmunt Krauze and the faculty of international relations at the Warsaw University. Since 2010 he is assistant lecturer at Inter-University Multimedia Program at F. Chopin’s Music University in Warsaw.  Since 2008 he is a member of Youth Section of Polish Composers Union.

He compose contemporary, electroacoustic, film and theatre music. His works have been performed at the youth composers concerts acompanying the Warsaw Autumn Festiwal, New Music Concerts in Toronto, Baltic Philharmony, Musica Moderna Festival in Łódź, ComIn Festival in Warsaw, Audio Art Festival in Warsaw. He wrote for Calisia Philharmony, New Music Concerts Ensemble, Orchestra and Choir of Mozart 2003 Society, An_arche New Music Ensemble, Kwadrofonik, Unplugged Orchestra, Scontri Ensemble.

He plays improvised, experimental, contemporary and rock music on electric guitar with live electronics. His a member of a few ensembles: Scontri Ensemble (contemporary music), Sonofrenia (improvised music with live electronics), Demer di (progressive rock), Duoturborozec (experimental guitar duo), Niemy Movie (live music to silent movies).

As a sound engineer he works for Warsaw Autumn Festival. He makes classical and pop recordings. He  creates sound design to films and computer games.

He is a prizewinner of several competitions for composers and sound engineers, including the ‘Youth Forum’ National Composers’ Competition in Warsaw (2nd prize, 2000), International Composers Competition for Classical Guitar in Tychy (2002), 52. Youth Composers Competition of T. Baird (1nd prize, 2010), I  Composers Competition of Z. Mycielski (2nd prize, 2010), Classical Recording Competition of  124 Convention of Audio Engineering Society in Amsterdam (2008). He received the scholarship of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2006, 2008) and the scholarship of Keimyung Research Fundation (2007, 2010).
